Guidance from The Prophet (peace be upon him)

Guidance from The Prophet (peace be upon him)

Hadrat Aishah (r.a.), the mother of the believers, reported: ‘The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, "The one who is proficient in the recitation of the Quran will be with the honorable scribes (the Angels) and he who recites the Quran and finds it difficult to recite, doing his best to recite it in the best way possible, will have a double reward.``

Related by Al-Bukhari and Muslim.

Commentary:

The one who is fluent in the Arabic language and is proficient in reciting the Glorious Quran perfectly will be honored to be amongst the Honorable Scribes of Paradise (the Angels); but one who is not fluent in the Arabic language, finds it difficult to recite the Glorious Quran but still makes a sincere effort to recite it as best as one possibly can…..such a person will be bestowed by a double reward by the Lord Most Gracious: one for the recitation of the Quran itself, and the other for making a sincere effort in-spite of his shortcomings.
